Target Characteristic of Short Circuit Electrostatic Detector
Some useful information of target can be get by the detection of electrostatic field around the it. Principium and equation of current detecting electrostatic detector are analyzed to get target characteristics curv The peak value of target characteristics curve is effected by several factors through simulation analysis. The more electric charge the target has, the faster the projectile approachs target, the little missdistance is, the bigger peak value of curve is.But change trend, the position of extreme point and zero-crossing point of target characteristics curve are independent of aforesaid factors.The extreme point and zero-crossing point of target characteristics curve always occur at relatively stationary position.The flying distance of projectile between two extreme points of curve is equal to missdistance when included angle of detection electrode and projectile longitudinal axis is zero degree. Extreme point always occur along the straight-line which included angle with direction of missdistance is 26.57°,which supply theoretics foundation for design of fuze booster lead to accurately control detonation.
