Development of the Micro-amperometric Detector Based on LPC2131

The sample vessel of the capillary electrophoresis chip is small and the current signal in the electrochemical cell is extremely weak after electrifying, so using high-sensitivity detector is extremely necessary. A new micro-amperometric detector is developed. It is based on 32-bit microcontroller ARM7-LPC2131. The system testing and error analysis testify that the system performance is very stable. The testing result is consistent with the theoretical value. The micro-amperometric detector may not only apply to the capillary electrophoresis chip, but also apply to the other situations with different sensors to test micro-current signal.
