The Determination of the Conductivity Factor of Phase Change Material Myristic Acid with Gas SiO2 Added

The heat conductivity factor of phase change material myristic acid system is heightened with the gas SiO2 added. The heat conductivity factors were determined respectively with the gas SiO2 added 1%, 3%, 5%, 8%, 10%, 12%, 17% and 20% quality content by using time-temperature curve and the heat conductivity factors were drawn. At the same time, the phase change entropy of these myristic acid systems were determined by using DSC. The results show the heat conductivity factor of myristic acid was heightened with the gas SiO2 added, the phase change temperature was changeless, and the phase change entropy was reduced.
