The Measurement Method Study on Microwave Attenuation of Solid Propellant Ezhaust Plume
On basis of the microwave character condition of the missile solid propellant plume and different equipments, a method for studying the microwave attenuation of solid propellant exhaust plume was established. The experiment conditions, such as the quantity and the form of motor propellants, microwave frequency, test distance, test azimuth and environment factor, and static state demarcate method were criteried. The contrast experiment of double-base propellants was investigated on the different experiment condition. The results show that the measurement method on microwave attenuation of solid propellant exhaust plume can used to investigated the microwave performance of low characteristic signal propellants. It also can develop the study of reverse radicalization missile propellant and hide armament system.
