Helicopter Gear Fault Signals Eztraction and Analysis Based on Time-Domain Average Techniques
Gearbox fault is one of the most frequent faults in helicopter mechanical equipments. Helicopter gear vibration principle is analyzed based on its vibration dynamics model, and a certain fault of helicopter gearbox is taken for an example to study helicopter gear fault vibration signals at different states using our software, which is developed based on time-domain average technique, the results show that time-domain technique can eliminate the influence of background noise and acquire obvious effects, and then, this technique and its correspondingly software are now applied in helicopter mechanical equipments fault diagnosis fields. At last the good diagnosis results are gained.
