Design and Achievement of Image Mosaicing System for Inner Surface Artillery Pipe

The computer technology of image mosaic provides measure to acquire clear and intuitionistic the inside surface of artillery pipe images, simultaneously, this paper talked about the overlapped images were rapidly registered by using the improved phase correlation image mosaic algorithm, and the gradated in-and-out image blending algorithm was applied to eliminate the seam, and a seamless inside surface of the artillery pipe image was acquired. The test result show that the system can automatically stitch the two overlapped and sequence images, and the real-time property of system is satisfied.
