Video Research in Handset Monitoring System
Handset linked to web camera can monitor some place, e.g. home, office, storehouse, public, danger place, etc, and will have a wide potential application in handset in the future. The paper researches video transmission coded by MPEG-4 between handset and web camera, and describes the details of video transmission in handset monitoring system; the paper presents the system structure, the process of video transmission, the method obtained MPEG-4 video stream based on RTSP/RTP protocol, the method for MPEG-4 to decode in handset monitoring system. A testing result is obtained after actual decoding of MPEG-4 video streams, the result demonstrate that MPEG-4 is available.
