Research on the Measurement of Vertical Target Dispersion in Double Barrels Weapons Systems Based on the Multiple CCD Cameras
Linear array CCD optical target intersection measurement system is a system to test artillery firing dispersion. A large amount of references about the technology to measure the impacting position of flying projectile by the different method have been studied. Then no one was found can be used in the double barrels weapon system. A novel projectile coordinate measuring method that use multi-linear CCD array camera intersection measurement system to measure the double projectile impacting position are presented in this paper. Three or four CCD cameras were used to set up station and takes pictures of the flying projectiles. The image acquisition card is adopted to make it possible for the computer to control the CCD camera to acquire and store the projectile data. The system can be used in measuring the space position of high speed moving multi-objects. The principle of measurement and the constitution of the system are introduced in detail.
