Research on Gain and Phase Error Calibration of Fuze Array

The influence of the gain and phase error to fuze array is analyzed at first. Then an array gain and phase error calibration method is put forward which can make the variance of the real array and the ideal array be the least through adaptive iterate after obtaining the array vector. The essential of this method is that the real array response function can converge to the ideal array function through which the error can be calibrated. The simulation result from Matlab shows that the direction of the main beam petal is more precise and the width of the beam become narrower after adapting the approached method. The performance of the array direction graph is improved with the sidepetal is lower whose gain value is below -20dB through which the validity of the calibration method is tested.
