An Approach to Large Deflection Problems of Orthotropic Circular Plates
Based on Bergers mothod1,in this paper, the large defleotion problems of orthotropic circular plate are investigated. The invariants of the mean surface strain are introduced into the fanctional of total potential energy, and the non-coupled differential equations are obtained by Eulers variational equations. The analytioal numerical results for eireular plates of clamped and immovable simply supported edges, under uniform distributed load, are precented by using the method of weighted residuals.
