Information eztraction of fillet weld based on structure light vision sensing
Extraction weld information in automatic weld tracking system is very vital. In this paper, the authors studied on the weld information extraction of fillet weld based on structure light vision sensor. CCD camera captures real-time weld images, and computer process them by image processing to obtain the weld strip, then an improved algorithm is proposed to detect weld feature points and locate points automatically. In the VC++6.0 environment, establish real-time image processing system of arc welding robot based on laser-structured light vision sensor. Experiment results verified that the improved algorithm can locate feature points rapidly and compute the weld offset accurately.
