A Remote Display System for Visual System of Flight Simulator Using Image-based Rendering Techniques

摘要：

Visual system is a subsystem of flight simulator which can generate and display simulated perspective images of the world for a pilot. This paper proposes a remote display system using image-based rendering (IBR) techniques for the visual system. Some implementation issues of the remote display system including system structure, software modules and key technologies are discussed in the paper. By using IBR techniques, the communication data and rendering cost for the remote display system are reduced.
