Dynamic Analysis of Magnetic Suspension Electromechanical Coupling System

The magnetic suspension electromechanical coupling system model is built. The model shows that the magnetic suspension spindle dynamic characteristics are determined not only by its stiffness and damping, but also by the dynamic characteristics of the machine tools. The spindle response amplitudes to the sine excitation are calculated. The results show that the spindle performance using the PID control parameters with considering the vibration of the machine tool is better than the spindle performance of the PID control parameters without considering the vibration of the machine tool, and the adverse machining accuracy effect of the machine tool vibration can be weakened by selecting the PID control parameters of the coupling system, and the machining accuracy of the magnetic suspension spindle can be improved.
