Muzzle Ezit Detection with Variable Reluctance Transducer
For searching a second stimulus for safe and arming device of fuze, which can be used for non-spun and spinning projectiles effectively and generally, muzzle exit detection is studied in this paper. And the results of theory analysis, simulation based on magnet dynamic model and semi-dynamic test show that, muzzle exit signal measured by VRT embed-in fuze, can be taken as an effective stimulus for fuzes safe and arming device beside setback.
