Principle and Application of Vector Miss Distance Measurement Technology

Vector miss distance measurement system is the major measurement of appraising the characteristics of accurate-guided weapons, which can measurement relative distance and relative motion trace between the mission and the target in the meeting section 、appraise the guidance precision of weapons 、estimate the ability of mission fuse-combat coordination and judge lethal result. The paper studies the principle of vector miss distance measurement technology based on the Doppler effect and the method of abstracting vector parameter. Using the measurement on the experiment of missile, we can get the relative distance and relative motion trace between the mission and the target in the meeting section and estimate the ability of missile by quantitative analysis.
