Study on Architecture of Electronic Instrument with Modules
A design method of electronic instrument with modules is proposed in this paper. An important achievement of the development of electronic instruments is that the instruments can be controlled over information network. General, an electronic instrument has one interface for network connection, and/or be connected with a PC computer as a terminal of the network. The DFG model of electronic instrument shows that such a configuration is not as good as required because that the data measured can not output from the instrument in data stream way. To overcome the disadvantage, a module of network interface with data bridge and data acquisition module which has the ability of data bridge connection are addressed. Results of DFG model analysis show that the data bridge can increase the property of data transmission to an electronic instrument and the data bridge and data acquisition module with data bridge interface are basic modules in instrument design.
