PID Controller Based on the Vector Square Immune Algorithm
Immune algorithm (IMA) based on vector square is firstly introduced. It is more appropriate for optimization questions of real values. IMA is suggested as the online optimizing algorithm of PID controller, firstly, the control parameters Kp, Kd and Ki are simply combined to be an vector to express an antibody, the optimal antibody in contrast with the antigen is obtained based on IMA. Simulation is performed based on M function of MATLAB. For better explaining the validity of this algorithm, GA is also applied in the PID controller. Simulation results show that, compared with GA, IMA has characteristics as avoiding local optima, converging quickly, high approaching precision etc, so the superiority of IMA in PID optimization is proved.
