Research on Dam Deformation Forecast Model Based on Genetic Algorithm Neural Network

The method of combining the genetic algorithm(GA)with BP algorithm together and supplemented mutually by optimizing the initial weights of ANN with GA has been introduced. Based on GA-LMBP neural network, the known testing data was used to establish a computational model to monitor the horizontal deformation of the 30# dam of Fengman hydropower station in Jilin province. Through comparing with the results, we get a conclusion that the proposed model has a preferable precision and applicability. It can be widely used in the testing forecast for water conservancy structure deformation.
