The Supervision of Water Quality Based on Multi-Agent System and Ezpert System
Intelligent sensors have more advantages than other means of detecting water pollution. If we use the sensors of detecting the water quality with the function of sending data on line, we can detect the polluted source early. And with the data, we can find the reasons for water pollution and dismiss the polluted source. The data can be stored in the sensors, and can be sent in a long distance to the supervisors in the supervision center. The sensors, based on the Windows Mobile operation system, have the function of sending data on line and receiving specific commands with the way of GPRS. So, every sensor, in the on-line detecting system of water quality, is regarded as an Agent. The Agent theory is playing an important role in artificial and computer science. The theory of Agent and Multi-Agent System (MAS) is an effective way to solve complex system problems. The paper establishes the Multi-Agent System and uses it in the field of local supervision on water quality. The recognition model and communication mechanism between the MAS has been discussed. Finally, the paper points out the combination of the theory of Multi-Agent System and traditional expert system technology is a way to resolve the problems.
