The Application of Sound Intensity Technique to Noise Source Identification of Diesel Engine
The noise source of a diesel engine of a vehicle is identified by the technique of sound intensity. The experiment drew the sound intensity contour map of the engine, got the noise distribution for the engine, and located the noise sources in different working conditions. The thesis also analyzes the noise radiation characteristic of the parts of the main noise source. The work presented in this paper lays the foundations of reducing noise for the engine.
