The study of embedded gateway with remote data collection and communication functions
The paper designed a kind of embedded gateway which is based on Freescales 16-bit production MC9S12NE64 microcontroller. It provide the RJ45 jack, RS232 interface, I/O port and an analog-to-digital converter (ATD) and so on. According to the actual needs, reduce open-source protocol stack OpenTCP appropriately and transplant it on MC9S12NE64. The gateway has integrated the A/D conversion interface,which can input analog data through the analog channel of the gateway, then the gateway will use multiplexed input successive approximation analog-to-digital converter to transform the analog data into a digital signal with 10-bit. Then the digital signal will be processed with the average filter. It is divided into 3 groups, which are packaged by OpenTCP Protocol and sent to the remote control port by Ethernet. It can also receive instructions by Ethernet to complete the corresponding control functions. Developed a software of gateway management based on RS232, it can write and modify the gateways parameters.
