Design of Resistance Divider for Measurement of Pulsed high Voltage
It is very important to measure the pulsed high voltage in many scientific research fields such as high voltage tests. The paper introduces the measurement principle of the resistance divider firstly. Then some key problems involved in the design process of the resistance divider are analyzed, such as the length determination of the resistance divider and the choice of the divider resistor. Finally the errors that caused by the distribution capacitance and the high voltage down-lead and its compensation methods are discussed. The research work has important instruction significance and the reference value to design the resistance divider with high precision.
