Study and Design on the Amorphous Alloy Strain Gauge

摘要：

This paper presents the feasibility study on making a strain gauge based on amorphous alloys. Firstly,we have designed a new kind of the strain gauge made of 0.5mm thin amorphous alloys. Secondly, we analyze the principles of this amorphous alloy strain gauge and derive its voltage output equation. Finally, we have used Fe-base TM-M amorphous alloys to develop this strain gauge which has the unique structure and carried the feasibility test.
