Development of People-counting System Using Time-difference Method
A people-counting circuit system is designed in this paper, which is based on the detection principle of infrared wave length, emitted from human body. Using the time-difference method, the system can be used to identify the passers moving directions, and to detect the numbers of people accurately and promptly. The detecting accuracy is more than 95% when people pass by a 1.5 meter wide door.
