Optimization for Combination Property of a One-way Switchable Overrunning Clutch
In this paper the non-linear equivalent spring-damping model in ADAMS was used to construct the virtual model of a One-way Switchable Overrunning Clutch. The approach to using the established model to solve rotational displacement of the rotating parts, force of the pretighening spring and interaction force between the roller and other parts, is explained. The model is also used to optimize the number of the roller. The analysis results provide basis for study on the clutchs fatigue life prediction and design parameters optimization.
