Study on a New Machining Process for Truck Front Shaft Mutual Perforative Hole
Front shaft is one of key parts for trucks well working. To get qualified front shaft, its difficult to meet following demands: rough degree of main pin-hole surface, precision of main pin-hole diameter, uprightness degree between axis and end face of main pin-hole, center distance between main pin-hole and wedge-shape pin-hole. Many factors, including main pin-hole, relative key dimensions, correlation and mutual dimension chain between main pin-hole and wedge-shaped pin-hole were analyzed to solve these. For these, a new machining planning, namely main pin-hole machining firstly and wedge-shaped pin-hole machining afterward with main pin-hole as datum hole was put forward. In this machining process, a method, drilling, milling, drilling, reaming, was used to solve the excursion when drilling. The practice showed it worked well.
