Verified the Simulation Result of Ezplosives Function Process Based on High-speed Photography
In this paper, we have shot the function process of igniter squib by the high-speed digital camera. A set of photos about flame propagation have been captured while loading materials for initiating explosive device burning inside the igniter squib. Compared the photos with the simulation results (the propagation images of pressure wave inside the igniter squib) which were simulated by Finite element software found that the two results coincided well. Thus, the comparison result indicated that the simulation results were reliable. The study results show that High-speed digital camera method is a good method to verify the veracity of simulation results for analogously initiating explosive device.
