Research on Testing Method of Low-Frequency and Narrow Impulse Laser Spot Based on Upconversion Lightening Technic
Testing of laser spot has been applicated in many engineering fields. CCD method is an automatic method and it has high degree of accuracy, but testing of low-frequency and narrow impulse laser spot is a very difficult problem because the laser spot is hard to be captured by common CCD. In this paper, by using upconversion lightening technic, low-frequency and narrow impulse laser spot is successfully captured in high efficiency. Testing method based on upconversion lightening technic, CCD image picking technic and computer image processing technic is put forward. It not only increases the efficiency and reliability of testing operation, but also reduces the cost of testing device. By means of experimental verification, it acquires good effect.
