Research on Fore-sidepetal Restraining Technologyof Fuze Antenna

The technology of fore-sidepetal restraining is researched according to the trait and requirement of the fuze antenna beamforming. The influence of the fore-sidepetal to the fuze startup zone is greatly reduced. This method adopts covariance matrix diagonal loading and hamming window, through plussing a constant value to the diagonal element which inlarge the little eigenvalue to the constant value. The distribute degree of the eigenvalue is minimized through this method. The computer simulation result shows that the level of the fore-sidepetal drops more than 10dB after adopting this method. Although the rear-sidepetal is raised, this method can be used in fuze antenna beamforming because the rear-sidepetal do not influence the fuze startup zone.
