Design of a 60dB fully differential op-amp with up to 1.3GHz unity gain bandwidth in a 0.18μm Bi-CMOS process
A 60dB open-loop gain fully differential op-amp is designed in this paper with 1GHz unity gain bandwidth in 0.18μm Bi-CMOS process. A current reference is also designed to provide a current of 400μA in a wide temperature range from 20℃ to 100℃. The op-amp proposed here can work properly in a wide temperature range from 20℃ to 100℃. An open-loop gain of 70dB is achieved with a unity gain bandwidth of 1.3GHz under room temperature condition. Other design specifications such as phase margin, noise, power consumption and output swing are also discussed in the paper. Circuits are simulated by Cadence in TSMC 0.18μm Bi-CMOS process.
