Simulation of Voltage Startup for Dual Stator-winding Induction Generator System
Voltage building up of dual stator-winding induction generator(DWIG) is necessary for the system operating normally. The values of excited capacitors have influence on the voltage building up of this system. The optimal values of excited capacitors of power winding for variable speed DWIG system are less than those of self-excited capacitors, which cant accomplish the voltage build up. Three voltage building up methods via excited capacitors, open-loop controlled converter and close-loop controlled converter are proposed, and the starting-up processes are simulated respectively, which confirms the validity of the proposed approach, and the applying occasion of different voltage building up method is given.
