Optimization of Calibration Interval Based on Reliability Indez

After the analysis for determination principles and adjusting methods, calibration intervals of measuring instruments or test systems based on the measurement reliability index is studied. Taking account of the impact of decision risk by false decision probability in the calibration process, and synthesizing different parameters by principal component analysis, simple response method (SRM) and Weibull reliability method are improved. The methods are corrected to calculate the optimal calibration intervals. The result of verification on digital multimeter (DMM) measurement channel in automatic test system (ATS) shows more reasonability and creditability.
