The design of intelligent electric vehicles basing on Visual navigation
AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) technology has been widely applied in manufacturing industries, transportation industry and other fields. It can travel independently in various destinations to complete the transport task. AGV, designed in this paper, is a production line can be applied to intelligent transport materials of electric vehicles. The information of guide line on the ground is captured by CCD camera, using on the AGV. After calculating the information, the decision is made by AVG which control the Vehicles moving along the guide line. Meanwhile, communication between AVG and work stations is realized by real-time wireless communication. After certain task information is received, the shortest path between the work station and AVG can be calculated by AGV, and the transport task will be completed fast and safely.
