Traffic Data Collection Equipment for Floating Car
The system design of the traffic data collection equipment for the floating car is specially discussed. The configuration of the hardware system is composed of the ARM main board and expansion board. The EP9312 CPU which has ARM920T core and 200 Mhz frequency is embedded in the ARM main board which has 90*96mm2 dim with standard PC104 specification. The expansion board is composed of GPS receiver, GPRS communication module, audio interface, keyboard interface, and power circuit. The software system is realized in the Windows CE5.0 operation system platform and is programmed with the multithreading technologies through the EVC compiler. The serial port communication, GPS data acquisition, GPRS communication are specially discussed. The practical applications show that the equipment has good performance.
