Design of the Special Measure Instrument for 2.5Gbps POS Signal Based on PCI Ezpress Bus
With the rapidly expanding of IP service and widely construction of SDH transmission network, the POS (IP over SDH) technology as one of the most important IP transmission ways are developed at very fast speed. A special measure instrument for POS signal is designed based on PCI-Express bus in this paper, which can measure the relative characteristics of 2.5Gbps POS signal in three aspects including: physical layer, data-link layer and IP layer. The instrument designed with high-speed optic-electric conversion,large scale FPGA and PCI-Express bus, can be adapted to 2.5Gbps entire POS format, 622Mbps entire POS format and 155M bps entire POS format.
