The Design and Data Simulation of the Protective Shell about Hard Recovery Recorder

In this paper, a protective shell about hard recovery recorder on missile was designed. It solved effectively that the existing recorder protective shells had poor anti-overload characters and the complex structures. This paper described the structure design of the protective shell, and simulated the process that the protective shell impacts 1m thick concrete target vertically in 550m/s speed. Finally, the situation of deformation and overload curves were acquired in the process of penetrating. In addition, this paper used Matlab software to analyze the volume change of memory circuit cavity. The simulation results showed that the structural design was reasonable, the selection of material was appropriate, and it could ensure its internal storage devices in good condition, with strong reference value and the application and background. The simulation results were basically the same with the test results.
