The Design of Signal Source of Pulse Whirlpool Test on the Basis of Single Chip Frequency Modulation

The system of signal source of variable frequency was designed, whose frequency can be adjusted in the range of 100~3000Hz. The system can meet the demands of testing defects in the depth of 2~10mm. In the design of the system, software of single chip was used to conduct digital frequency modulation. Consequently, traditional circuit of special frequency modulation was replaced by soft, which decreased the hardware cost and simplified the structure. In design of soft, interrupt technique was employed to avoid repetitive data collection and A/D transformation and increase control precision. The Proteus emulation results show that, the design is right and the system work reliably.
