Comparison of Efficiency Between Two Way of CGH
In this paper, computer generated holograms (CGH) was synthesized by elemental CGHs and the numerical reconstruction of that was done to check its validity. The simulation of recording optical holograms was completed to generate a CGH of the same 3D model previously used. The time elapse of the two methods was measured and compared precisely and the result showed that using elemental CGHs to synthesize the CGH of a 3D model could be much faster than simulating real holograms process. The shortcoming of the synthesizing CGH is pointed out and some possible way to over come them is proposed as well.
