Study of voltage flicker measurement based on Matlab
The light flicker effect is one of the most complex phenomena in the power quality field, so it has a practical significance to evaluate the flicker severity accurately. The IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission) provides the standard and the design specifications of measuring flicker, but the specific implement method is not given. This paper analyzes every part of the IEC flickermeter and establishes a model of flickermeter using Simulink in Matlab and finally the model and the statistical algorithm are implemented under the virtual instrument. The simulation and usage shows that the model can satisfy the precision requirement of IEC standard.
