Research on Virtual Measurement and Performance Evaluation of Recoil System of Guns Based on Virtual Prototyping Technology
The important functions of recoil system for guns are analyzed, and the necessity and significance of quantitative evaluation of its performance are demonstrated. Based on analysis of main factors that affect guns performance, three indexes that denote performance of recoil system are put forward. Furthermore, the evaluation of synthetical performance is separated into evaluations of three sub-performances, and the relations between integrated performance district and those of sub-performances are studied. On the basis of virtual prototyping, virtual working state parameter and evaluation function are defined, and a new method to evaluate integrated performance of recoil system is presented with the combination of AHP to achieve weighted coefficients. Quantitative evaluation of performance of recoil system is realized, and simulation and evaluation results suggest the feasibility of quantitative evaluation with virtual prototype and the superiority of virtual prototyping. Finally, the perspective of virtual prototyping technology applied in military equipment in the future is given.
