A New Power Modulation Mode for Induction Heating Power Supply
Rectifying unit power modulation, direct current unit power modulation and inverter unit power modulation are three commonly used methods to adjust the output power for induction heating power supply. This paper firstly reviews these three approaches briefly, then to inverter unit power modulation, introduces a new power modulation mode in inverter unit power modulation, that could make the controlling pulses more evenly distribution in a working period which makes the output current more continuous. Stateflow method was used to do the simulation and experiments results were given to verify the validity of the mode.
