DESIGN OF OFDM UWB SIGNAL

Ultra Wideband (UWB) has become a hot topic of research on wireless communication domain. The choice of UWB signal is a key problem in order to guarantee the communication quaIity of other wireless systems and popularize UWB technique. Different from the traditional UWB pulse signal, this paper designs UWB signal based on the OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technique and has established MATLAB simulation platform of OFDM-UWB signal. The simulation platform can easily modify transmitted signal parameters on the fine human-computer interface so that we can obtain the OFDM-UWB signal we need. Finally based on the MATLAB simulation platform, this paper has also carried on an analysis of the time domain and the frequency range characteristic of the generated OFDM-UWB signal.
