Some Innovative Viewpoints for Improving Data Quality
Data quality is the foundation for data mining and further data analysis. Some innovative viewpoints are proposed for resolving difficult problems in data quality research. Firstly, datas lifecycle is divided into three phases, design, production and application. Problems are resolved in the phase which they arises and avoided in the next operation, namely, early find and early resolution can be realized easily. Then, data support is merged into support system of traditional equipment or productions and high importance is endowed with. The primary methods and concepts are introduced to data support area, including test, measurement, detection, quality management, fault diagnosis and so on. Last, a archetypal distributed data conditon monitoring system is given, and its key problems are analyzed. Some bottle-necks could be resolved effectively by our innovative viewpoints.
