Study of the Optimizing of Vehicle Routing Problem Based on Genetic Algorithm and GIS Technology

this article proposes a point of view which combined GIS technology and Genetic Algorithm together, based on the practical application and the introduction of improved Genetic Algorithm, that overcome the shortcomings when calculated the distance between any two points in curves, and it has more practical significance than other algorithms. Through the simulation of practical examples, we achieve a relatively satisfied result, and at the same time the efficiency and accuracy have been greatly improved.
