Bullwhip Effect: Is There a Solution?

Many researchers are concerned about the existence of bullwhip effect. They wonder why the bullwhip effect exists and how it could be eliminated. Obviously, the bullwhip effect has undesirable consequences for the supply chain. However, the bullwhip effect is a phenomenon that cannot be explained or controlled. There are economic and business reasons for its existence. Therefore, rather than explaining which is hard to explain, it is better to understand reasons for its existence and accept why it exists.
