Social Capital’s Function on Regional Innovation: A Circulatory System of Innovation Resources1

摘要：

This paper has examined the interactive effect between the major three elements of macro-level social capital (network、norms and institutions、and trust), and analyzed the relationship between social capital elements and innovative resources. We have constructed a model to illustrate that social capital plays a function on regional innovation through a circulatory system of the absorption、 mobilization and value creation of innovation resources, and pointed out that generalized trust derived from institutiongoverned bridging network may have greater significance to regional innovation than relation trust developed from normcontrolled bonding network.
