Input-output Analysis of Guangzhou Service Industry-Based on the Cobb-Douglas Production Function
In this paper, input-output analysis of service industry in Guangzhou is based on Cobb - Douglas production function according to the data of service industry in Guangzhou from 1997 to 2007. We conclude that the development of service industry in Guangzhou lies in the advanced manufacturing and modern service which are of equal importance, incremental inputs of both the quality and quantity of labor forces, adjusting the capital investment, and expanding the size of the service industry to obtain greater economies of scale.
