International Trade, Governmental Support and R&D Efficiency of Western Region in China

摘要：

Based on the model of Stochastic Frontier Approach of panel data, international trade and local government support, the determinants on R&D efficiency of 12 provinces in Chinese western region were investigated. The experiential result shows: The intensity of international trade and the support of local government on the science and technology have remarkable positive promoting function on the R&D efficiency of western region in China.
