The Floating Population Survey Implementing in BeiLun, Ningbo

摘要：

Beilun, a small seaport with even more temporary population than its permanent households, whilst enjoy the quick pace of industrialization and urbanism contributed largely by its non-permanent households, is now seeking for the proper regulation and planning mechanism for its temporary population. This essay presents a population research project, aimed at getting a present profile of the temporary population, predicting its structure, and putting forward some policies urgently needed for its management. Description on what kind of information in demand and the methods to get them, together with some provoking results from the pre-test will also be included in this article.
