A New Estimator in Linear Regression Models with Application to Hospital Manpower Data

摘要：

In this short paper, we mainly aim to propose a new estimator with simple structure in the linear regression model y=Xβ+e and study the optimal selection for the parameters involved in the estimator under the PRESS criterion. The Hospital Manpower Data is employed with the aid of Matlab 7.0 to illustrate the theoretical results.
